CEhoeThe Big Cheese! Chantel is the owner of The Pink Label. She specializes in all things colour but definitely has a soft spot for blondes.
Chantel wanted this space to be vibrant, colourful and most importantly, radiate joy. It is a safe environment that celebrates your uniqueness and encourages you to be yourself.
When she isn’t behind the chair you may see her late at night creating the latest window displays, making out with her cat Cheeto and spending time with her family.
She dresses like a colourful toddler and is forever reinventing her look. Chantel gets inspiration through anything that evokes a child-like excitement! Think bright, bold and happy. Having a fun loving personality, she hopes you enjoy this fun salon experience the moment you walk into the shop.

Hey, I’m Jess!
I’ve been in the hair industry for 21 years, with stops along the way in the UK and 17 amazing years in Vancouver. I’ve worked with two pro haircare brands and now share my passion as part of the Evo Education team.
Blondes, balayage, and lived-in colour are my passion — but I also love a great cut, a killer style, and anything bridal.
I recently relocated to beautiful Qualicum Beach to get back to my island roots, slow things down, and soak up some nature. I can’t wait to meet you in my chair!

Kat’s passion for the industry comes from her love to create and connect with the guests who sit in her chair. Her jam is easy to style, easy to maintain cuts and colours. She is a wizard with her tools and loves teaching her clients how to create the magic at home.
Fun facts: She desperately loves to laugh. Thinks women are fabulous. Doesn’t follow pop culture while still knowing everything about pop culture. It’s a skill.

Balayage
(bah-lay-ahge) A highlighting technique where the hair is painted free hand creating a soft natural effect.
Highlights
A traditional highlighting technique where specifically designed pieces are picked up and lightened using foil.
Gloss Treatments
A service using Demi Semi or Permenant Colour to cover/enhance greys and/or to add tone and shine.
Haircuts
We believe that gender is a social construct and offer haircuts based on time, not gender.
Extensions
We offer two methods of extensions:
-Beaded Row with Handtied wefts
-Tape in
